Be Creative

Valentine’s Day is a fun time for little ones to share a fun treat with their classmates, teammates, and family! These Play-Doh Task Cards include a sweet message and a hands-on activity for kids to complete! It’s a win-win! 🙂 I’ve included the FREE printables below in 6 color options to coordinate with multiple Play-Doh colors!

Materials needed:

Free Printables:

Assembly:

Print the Valentine’s on cardstock paper. Regular printer paper is too flimsy and won’t hold up well when completing the Play-Doh activity.

Have your little one write their name on each card and laminate them. The laminating step is optional! I think it adds more rigidity to the cards allowing them to be used multiple times without getting bent or ruined. The cardstock paper will hold up just fine if you don’t have a laminator!

Pair each card with Play-Doh! We color-coordinated the Play-Doh with the matching heart color (similar to the Brach’s Conversation Heart Candy)! My daughter loved all of the different color options for both the girls and boys in her class!

We placed a card, Play-Doh and Smarties in individual treat bags to hand out to my Daughter’s class! I love how the Smarties paired well with the “Because you’re so SMART” phrase on the cards! A box of Conversation Hearts would be a cute addition as well!

Activity:

The cards provide a heart outline activity the kids can form using their Play-Doh!

My Daughter is really excited to hand these out to her class on Valentine’s Day! Follow me along on Instagram for more ideas and let me know if you make these for your little one to hand out as well!
