Be Creative

My Daughter’s love sensory bins! They are quick and easy to put together with items you already have at home! They offer hours of fun and imaginative play for little ones! This Patriotic Sensory Bin took just a few minutes to put together (minus the drying time for the beans) and would be perfect to assemble for Memorial Day or July 4th!

Materials needed:

Directions:

Place cookie cutters in bin and add beans.

Fill around cookie cutters with rice and then carefully remove them.

Build the popsicle by layering blue, white and red beans on top of a popsicle stick.

Add erasers, spiky balls, pom poms, scoops or any other fun sensory items for your little ones to play with!

Seek and Find Sensory Bin:

Turn your sensory bin into a Seek and Find activity by eliminating the rice and only using the dyed beans (preferably the same color as your erasers). These beads would work great as well (for older kids). I used this Star shaped chip and dip container which helped to provide a convenient space in the middle to place the found erasers!

Follow me along on Instagram and let me know if you recreate one of these Sensory Bins!
