Be Creative

Valentine’s Day is always a great time to show love and appreciation for your teachers, classmates and friends! I always like to send non-food items due to the risk of food allergies in classrooms and the possible mess. These are the perfect Valentine’s Day treat to hand out at school that any child is sure to love!

Girl Tag

Colors of red and pink are always perfect for Valentine’s Day! You can have your little one hand these out to the girls in her class and the boy tag to the boys; or keep them all pink and red from your little girl! The possibilities are endless! 🙂

Boy Tag

The primary colors in this tag make it perfect for your little man to hand out to his classmates! With Valentine’s usually being focused around more “girly” colors, this is a great Valentine’s option from your little man! 🙂

Materials needed:

I created two different versions of the printable. One in pink and red and the other with primary colors. Print one or both! 🙂

Boy Free Printable

I show two different ways you can put these Valentine’s together. One with the tag inside the bag (version one) and the other with the tag on the outside (version two). See details below.

Steps to put together:

Cut out the squares individually with scissors.

Place all of the spiky balls into the cellophane bags.

Version one:

Version one: Place the tag inside the cellophane bag, fold the bag towards the back and punch a hole in the top middle.

Version two:

Version two: Only on the piece of paper, punch a hole in the middle of the tag.

Version one: Place the ribbon color of your choosing through the hole.

Version two: Place the ribbon color of your choosing through the hole.

Version one: Tie ribbon in a knot and slide the edge of scissors along ribbon to create a curl.

Version two: Wrap ribbon around cellophane bag above ball and tie a knot. Slide the edge of scissors along ribbon to curl.

All done! 🙂 I hope you enjoy these free printables! My three-year old daughter is very excited to take them for her class!
