Be Creative

What toddler doesn’t love Froot Loops! They’re sweet, crunchy, fruity and colorful, not to mention whole grain! But don’t tell them that! 😉 That’s the one justification I have to letting my daughter eat them. Froot Loops are also a great cereal to use for crafts! I have posted FREE printables below and activities your little one can do using this yummy, fruity cereal!

Froot Loop Color Sorting

All you need for the first activity are the FREE printables linked below and Froot Loops

Craft table ready to use! 🙂

The Circle Printable is a great beginner activity for kids learning how to sort colors.

The ABC 123 Printable is more of a challenge due to the curves! This is a great one to do after your little one has mastered the circles!

Froot Loop Necklace

Froot Loops are the perfect cereal to make a fun, edible necklace! Use 1/8 inch or 3 mm ribbon. This is the perfect size to fit through the holes. Also, choose a bright or bold color ribbon to make it easier for little eyes to see versus white ribbon.

Cut the ribbon into a 24 inch long piece. This allows plenty of room to be able to tie the ends together. Tape one side of the ribbon onto the table. This prevents the Froot Loops from sliding off of the ribbon and makes it easier to string the cereal.

My three year old daughter really enjoyed color coding the Froot Loops and then making an edible necklace! I hope your little one will enjoy these simple, fun activities as well!
