Be Creative

My daughter loves to craft! She is three and enjoys anything that involves textures, colors and creativity. I wanted to do a simple, fun and MESS FREE craft for St. Patrick’s Day! I know what you’re thinking, did I just say “mess free?” Yes! Crafting doesn’t have to be messy! Below are the details on this Rainbow craft. 🙂

Materials needed:

Steps to put together:

Place the Glue Dots on each colored dot. Use the plastic to press down and then peel the plastic off of the dot from the corner. This may seem like a tedious process, but it was very quick to do and helps to make this project mess free! It also makes it easy for toddlers and kids to “stick” the Pom Poms where needed!

I randomly added Glue Dots in the cloud section. You could also leave them blank.

I like to use these silicone baking cups to organize the different color pom poms. This helps to keep them contained and prevent them from rolling all over the floor. It was also much easier for her to pick the color she wanted to use. She would name the colors as well! Can we say, educational? Always a win in my book! 🙂

Her craft table set and ready to use! 🙂

She completed the craft by herself without any help! She enjoyed matching the pom poms to the corresponding color dots on the paper. The pom poms stuck great to the Glue Dots! Best of all, there was no mess!

The completed project! This was definitely a perfect craft for toddlers or any child learning colors! You could also use Fruit Loops for an edible version! Please keep in mind that children should be supervised when using pom poms. I hope your little one enjoys completing this craft just as much as my daughter did! 🙂
