Be Creative

I have always loved Valentine’s Day! There’s something so sweet about hearts and the meaning behind the Holiday. Check out this DIY Yarn Wreath I made a few months ago. I loved how it turned out and decided I wanted to make something similar for Valentines. It’s also very quick and easy to make! ♥

Materials needed:

Place your two different yarn colors side by side.

Form a loop.

Place your hand through the loop.

Grab the longest piece of yarn.

Pull through.

Place your hand through the loop again.

Grab the longest piece of yarn.

Pull through.

Repeat until you have desired length.

Apply hot glue on the top middle of the heart wreath.

Place the end of the braided yarn (leaving ends hanging down) onto the glue.

Glue the braided yarn in sections around the wire heart wreath.

Cut the excess yarn (leaving a few inches) to fold backwards.

Flip the wreath over and pull the excess yarn to the back and glue.

You can also secure the wool yarn with the thin yarn, but I think hot glue works well.

Glue the wooden beads throughout the wreath.

You can glue as many or as little as you like! You could also use these bigger beads as well!

Add a bow for a finishing touch! 🙂

I really love how sweet and simple this heart wreath turned out! Check out this one for an additional option! I hope you found inspiration to make one as well! ♥
